I quit going here years ago because the owner would literally berate me over every requested car repair. I think that's their business, to fix cars., not to scold me about the extent of the repairs. The owner would unnecessarily raise his voice at me. I had come here for 20 plus years. The last straw was when I took my truck in for inspection and some big dude employee bucked up to me and angrily told me that my parking brake was out, so my truck couldn't be inspected. He didn't say it nicely, My first thought was why is he so mad and ready to pounce, my second thought was why can't they offer to fix the parking brake? Isn't it a repair shop? They don't have a very good temper and have a lack of interest in customer loyalty.

Bert and Kyle are great guys and very trustworthy. That's why they have a thriving business. I drive an oddball 2000 Plymouth Prowler and they do fantastic work. Highly, highly recommend them.

(I'm a Repeat Customer) The owner, Bert, has Hands-Down the most honest mechanic shop I've ever been to. They saved me over $10k on just two of my maintenance visits. Ex.: Toyota dealership tells me I need almost $6k of work on my rear end ('05 Tundra) and another couple $k on my engine. Took it 1/ 4 miles down the road to Hollywood, and I only need an engine seal and re-weld on a rear shock bracket, totaling just over $600. Amazing, and I was hooked on HPA. They solidified my business after I took my Honda Odyssey there because it's sounded like the rear tires were rubbing the wheel well, and I thought I was about to spend multiple $k's on new suspension and tires... I took it to HPA, the NEW (2 months old) Wheels and Tires I bought from Discount Tire, were the wrong size and too big! NO CHARGE. (It's a different story how I got Discount Tire to switch tires out) Hollywood PA had a prime opportunity to take advantage of me and put new everything on the back end, or all around the van, but they told me the truth and saved me Thousands of $$$$$. Take your vehicles here. Period.

I pulled up behind the bay for an inspection, asked a worker if I was good were I parked, and was told I was good right there. Within 90 seconds the employee in the engine bay reversed and hit my car. I got out and I didn’t even insult the guy, I was cussing and upset but I did not insult him or anything and he immediately got in my face trying to insinuate a fight. Even if I wasn’t supposed to park there, he still hit a parked car! He didn’t even look. And I was told I COULD park there. Strongly don’t recommend this ghetto establishment. Owner should immediately address this kind of behavior.
