Told me I needed all kinds of crap after I told them that I just wanted an oil change. Gave me this ridiculous quote and I said no thanks. They said I should really get my brakes changed since it’s metal on metal; that made no sense to me. I declined, got my oil change (got ripped off) and went home to check my brakes myself and they were more than good. They tried scamming me out of $1,100 for all new rotors and brake pads. Avoid this place like the plague unless you like getting ripped off.

Update 7/29/2025 So Jiffy Lube commented on my review that somebody would get in contact with us and investigate, and somebody from customer relations at Jiffy Lube called and spoke to my wife and said he was investigating what happened. He asked her for all the details. She told him everything, and he acted very concerned, said he'd investigate and get back to her. He never called back again. I don’t think they actually wanted to do anything about it, they just wanted to make it look like they did when someone read the review. I believe they very much know how shady their managers are because they coach them and expect them to do that because they’re out to make as much money as possible from every customer. Of course, it’s a business and they’re trying to make money, but when you try and cheat people you destroy your reputation, and as far as I’m concerned, that’s exactly what they’ve done. If you don’t mind way overpaying for any services you get that may or may not be needed, go there! If you want good work for a fair price, stay away! 07/01/2025 Horrible experience here on July 1st around 10 am! My wife went in for an oil change, and the grumpy and rude Manager tried to upsell her so many things that she obviously didn’t need. Here’s the most ridiculous: my wife asked to get her tires rotated, and he told her that the mechanic that put them on had tightened the lug nuts too much and stripped them, so they needed to be replaced. How much was he going to charge her for her tire rotation? $275! We went to a local shop the next day and the tires were rotated quickly at the regular price with no mention of any problem with the lug nuts. He also told her that her battery was just about dead and needed to be replaced for $260, but it’s only a few months old and the car is starting fine. He also said she needed her rear brakes done and it was going to be $525 for that, and a coolant flush for $199; those she could probably use, but not needed today, and certainly not done by these crooks! What else will they find wrong once they get started? She ended up paying $180 for the oil change, cabin filter, and air filter. Overall, the manager was rude and angry, berated, and belittled his employees in front of customers, and then when my wife questioned the validity of all these things she supposedly needed and asked for a printout of his estimate, he went in his office and shut the door and refused to help her any further. One of the mechanics working there apologized and said he would write everything down for her because the manager wasn’t available. Jiffy Lube corporate people, if you’re listening, some people are just not cut out for leadership. He needs to be replaced, or at least retrained before he destroys your reputation and loses you more customers.

My recent visit to Jiffy Lube for a Holman Fleet oil change and tire rotation was an absolute nightmare. I explicitly told the technician I only had time for these two services and did not want anything else, as the car was going to auction. She assured me only those services would be performed. To my shock, I received a $1,300 invoice for an oil change, tire rotation, filter change, wiper change, and a brake job. I only approved the oil change and tire rotation. The original technician later admitted her manager instructed her to perform the additional services despite my clear refusal. This is fraudulent behavior. After picking up the car, I experienced severe shaking and bouncing when stopping at highway speeds. I had to return three separate times because the shop technician repeatedly insisted this was "normal." A week later, a burning smell prompted me to check the cabin air filter, which, along with the wiper blades, was never changed, despite being charged for them. The only service I could verify was completed was the brake job. I felt completely taken advantage of. It's clear that if I hadn't investigated the issues on my own, they would never have completed the work I paid for, nor would they have acknowledged the problems. This was a highly unauthorized and incredibly frustrating experience, resulting in significant overcharges for unapproved and uncompleted work, and a dangerous driving condition that was dismissed multiple times. I strongly advise caution with this location. I informed Holman that fraud was committed here and this location was flagged for denials in the future.

I would not recommend this place. I waited until after closing and got yelled by an employee saying I should of not brought my car in so late in the day, well I brought it in at 2pm with e.t.a. Of 3 hours. Note: this was my second time attempting to get my brakes done, the first time I had waited for 3 hours and they said come back another day- but they were good about charging my card without getting the job done. This was such a horrible experience, and through all that I never received an apology. One of the guys was nice but the manager was rude and of course left by 5pm. I have been to other Jiffy lubes around San Antonio and Austin and have never been treated this way. How horrible, then after 6:30pm, only customer left then my car was finally ready.

It’s a Sad day! I will have to change where we take both of our vehicles. I will not continue to spend hard earned money just to keep lazy employees that don’t care about customers, taking home a paycheck they did not earn. The poor service I received today was unacceptable. - drove into the lane far enough to allow your team to see me but not committed to a lane. Team member let me know what lane. - I committed to that lane and started to drive closer. Team member was standing at the bay door just waiting, I did not see him or his hands motioning in anyway. - I drove closer about where I always do, put it in park, turned off ignition, stepped outside ready to go in and the TM says I need to move closer. WOW! Talk about not caring about who pays his bills. I am in retail and the customer always pays the bills! No Customers No Hours No Bills Paid. Anyway I got back in and moved closer. - at the end of the service… They didn’t even check my tires. I had 3 at 31 and 1 at 35. I had to ask since I was going on a trip or I wouldn’t have bothered. After the air up, I had 1 at 45, 2 at 37 and 1 at 38. And just to top it all off they didn’t vacuum the truck again today, but they never do. Anyway pretty sad! So Lazy.
