🔧 Walmart Auto Care Centers

I've been really impressed by the service every time I go. I have purchased my van's batteries here for years and years. This last time, Darrel helped me over the phone and also in person and he was just so nice. Definitely a step above the norm!

The mechanic who did my oil change unclipped some of the engine bay covers to check my air filter (even though I told them I didn’t want one). In the process, the mechanic didn’t replace the plastic tabs that keep the covers in place. Those are not cheap and that is extremely lazy. The oil change was done quickly but I don’t need it done this fast if you are going to make me lose car parts. I had the 12:30 appointment on 7/18.

Didn’t have an appointment for oil change. Took 1hr and 45 minutes which was fine but after it was done only 1 person on register. Wasn’t enough cash in the cash drawer for another persons transaction so had to wait 20 more minutes just for someone to get more cash to the cash drawer.

I went in for an oil change with my boyfriend on an old car. I tend to be shy and this time was the first time I was a little more assertive. Bearded guy talked to me as if I was a female dog. I backed off and went back to my usual self. He then skipped past me as if I had never said a word. We went to a different Walmart. Also went back to same Walmart over a year later with different truck and bearded guy was still there. I asked to get my lights replaced but ended up going to a different Walmart after another employee said it'll be a 3 hour wait minimum if you wanna stay. He then dismissed me and went on to someone else in line.

I've been taking my vehicle into Walmart Auto Center for a long time now. I wanted to share my great experiences.
