Great shop. I got towed there and they immediately let me use some of their gas and precious time to get back on the road after a breakdown.

I had a great experience with Paul D. Hooks Automotive. They were quick and efficient after I had to have my car towed there. I will be coming back for future services. Thank you!

David & Jared are amazing. Not only did Jared offer to give me a ride to work this morning, but he also did a long test drive of my car to make sure it was running smoothly. David took the time to make sure I actually saw what was going on with my car and he explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. They both talked with me in detail about my options with my car and did what they could to help me with cost. I highly recommend coming here.

Fix your car with Paul Hooks, if you don't mind having more damage done to your car, having missing parts, broken handles, and losing covers, caps, and screws. You must also pay exaggerated charges for made-up issues or a small defect that never actually gets fixed. In short, it is incompetent, dodgy, and hazardous. For more details, here's my experience with Paul, 1. The car had minor dysfuntion, droping start-up right after fully fuelled per Paul, it needed a "purge" valve; which he then replaced for $800+ charges. __but the problem persisted... 2. So, I took it again to Paul, and another valve needs replacement: $700 charges 3. A few weeks later, check engine light on: name a replacement, AND ELECTIVELY REPLACE THE BATTERY __here's the serious problem beyond unrequired and fake charges, fresh out of Paul's, the windshield wipers not working, and the battery is mallfunctioning; the car repeatedly needs a jump start... 6. We took the car back right then, Paul needed four days to ensure what the problem was, and finally replaced the battery (with an oversized wrong one). But still hasn't fixed the wipers, and when urged to repair the wipers that he damaged while replacing the now malfunctioning battery, he ended up breaking the hood release handle with the hood jamed, thus must leave the car more days 7. Two more days, Paul and David stated the wipers can't be fixed, "it's the windshield wipers motor that's broken," and they can replace it for $700+ __interesting fact is, during the same time of fixing engine light and changing the battery, Paul then passed the car for the state inspection, despite unworking wipers and defective battery (reporting DMV for fraud) 8. Paul became so unprofessional when I asked that he fixes the damage he infected on the car for negligence, ignorance, or else. He declined fixing his mistakes, and I discovered 2 cooling hozes were disconnected. 9. Took the car to the dealer to fix the damage the mechanic Paul caused to battery and wipers, but also out of deep concern for what else could he have done to the car __turns out the windwipers' motor is working fine, but Paul had disconnected a necessary wire out of the battery for the wipers to work AND got rid of a crucial battery regulator for the battery to maintain charges. They replaced the 2 missing pieces for $900+, then everything went back to normal again, and Paul refuses to take responsibility for his ignorance and malpractice *FYI, this car had no prior issues at all and was just recently out of an extended warranty, will all previous maintainance done at the dealar *below photos of having to break into the car cause of Paul breaking the hood release handle, and while fresh out of Paul's shop, disconnected hozes, defective battery, and damaged wipers
