I was driving down the interstate when my car suddenly lost power and started idling rough with misfires. The closest place I could limp it to was this Midas. I dropped it off on a Friday, and they told me they could look at it the next day, but they charge a $165 diagnostic fee (which would go toward the repair if I went forward). The next morning, they called to say the issue was ignition coils in cylinders 1 and 4. The woman on the phone acted like she was giving me a discount, but then hit me with a $1,300 quote. I had just replaced my spark plugs in January, so I knew they didn’t need to be replaced — yet she insisted they “had” to replace all four coil packs and spark plugs, no exceptions. I told them I’d pass and pick up my car. On the way, I stopped at O’Reilly’s and bought a coil pack of 4 for $250. I drove my car across the street to a Murphy’s parking lot, swapped them out myself in 20 minutes, and the car now runs perfectly. That’s right — I fixed it myself for $1,000 less than their quote. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE unless you want to be overcharged and taken advantage of.

Came in for an oil change at the Midas on FM 78 and had a great experience. Mrs. Mary was super kind, honest, and professional. Service was quick, and I didn’t feel pressured at all. Definitely coming back!

I wanted to share my experience with this particular Midas branch. Mary and her team of excellent mechanics went above and beyond and did way more than I ever expected to cover a warranty issue on my brakes. I didn't have a good experience at first with another location, but with this location on Foster road they did an amazing job and have changed my mind. I can't think Mary and the mechanics enough. I would recommend the Foster road branch of Midas to anybody.

This is the best Midas I have ever been to. I used to go to the one on Pat Booker but was being overcharged. I came to this one, on Foster Rd, because I needed something at walmart then remembered I needed the oil changed. The center makes you feel like family and they give you best price possible. I did read the reviews and I was amazed at the positive reviews and I am not a paid reviewer, I believe in giving honest reviews. You do need to wait a bit but it was well worth it. Thank Mary for providing the best customer service and for your husband for servicing my vehicle in record time. I'll be back again and again! God bless you both.

I had a terrible experience with another mechanic shop that ended up ruining my car, which left me in a tough spot. Deciding to give Midas a try was one of the best decisions I made! From the moment I walked in, the staff went above and beyond to help. Mary, who works at the front desk, is absolutely amazing. She’s always so helpful, patient, and has a wonderful attitude, making sure I’m kept up to date with everything going on with my car. Simon, the mechanic working on my vehicle, is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough. He made sure my car was in perfect condition before handing it back to me, and I felt completely confident in the repairs. The level of service here is top-notch, and I can tell they genuinely care about their customers and their cars. I really appreciate how they made me feel like a priority and gave me the peace of mind I was looking for.
